Here Are The ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Prince Night Songs And Dances For The Semi-Finals

After last week’s star-studded 20th anniversary of Dancing With the Stars, ABC’s beloved dance competition is switching gears on Tuesday, Nov. 18, to honor the one and only Prince, who is regarded as one of the most iconic and influential artists in history.

At the end of the 20th Birthday Party, fan-favorite duo Andy Richter and Emma Slater were sent home after receiving the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewers’ votes. “I’m a different person because of this show and this woman right here,” the comedian said about Slater following their elimination.

Six couples remain in the competition for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, which will be awarded next week: Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten and Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa. (Make sure you vote for your favorites during the broadcast!)

While the past few weeks featured various challenges, like the Team Dances and the Relay Dance, there won’t be one in the upcoming Semi-Finals. Instead, each couple will take the ballroom floor twice with their professional partners to prepare for the finale.

Both times, the six remaining pairs will perform dance styles to Prince’s biggest hits, from “Purple Rain” and “Kiss” to “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” The first dance will be a style they haven’t yet completed this season, while the second will give contestants a chance to show “how far they’ve come,” according to ABC.

Will another couple be sent home tonight, or will all six stars advance straight to the finale? In recent years, DWTS has chosen to forgo eliminations during the Semi-Finals when five contestants remained. The last time a couple was sent home during the penultimate episode was a double elimination in Season 31 in 2022.
